The Pop-Up Book of 10 Phobias
Many books (we’re not just talking Don DeLillo novels here) are basically really long and elaborate lists, but some are more subtle about their bullet-point structure than others. Pop-up books, with their over-arching themes and one-subject-per-spread format, are particularly obvious lists. One amazing recent tome, The Pop-Up Book of Phobias by Gary Greenberg, Matthew Reinhardt and Balvis Rubess, illustrates a series of popular fears in awesome, unfolding, 3D detail. Let’s just say that if you have a fear of dentists, snakes, flying, elevators, dirty toilets, public speaking, spiders, heights, clowns, or being buried alive, you shouldn’t watch this video of The Pop-Up Book of 10 Phobias.
