Since one of the great unifying experiences shared by a significant percentage of the human race in the 20th century is the doctor’s visit, it seems only fitting that there should be a bounteous plethora of interesting doctor characters out there in the worlds of fiction and reality. We’ve combined two recent listicles–mental_floss’s 8 Famous Doctors and TopTenz’s Top 10 Evil Doctors–into an epic chronicle of the Top 18 Famous More or Less Evil Doctors, although we’re surprised by the absence of Doctor Octagonapus, who is also a combination of famous doctors (Octopus and Octagon).
