Our laptop used to overheat every five minutes, which was great when we needed an excuse not to do an assignment, but also made for some of the most fast and furious work sessions in the history of computers. We would sit in the middle of a room full of fans, hoping the extra air circulation would help, and then stick the computer in the fridge to help it cool down faster (in retrospect, this may have done more harm than good). Still, that poorly designed laptop (a Toshiba, take note!) pales in comparison to the improvised portable computers featured in Urlesque’s listicle of The 6 Most Impractical Laptops. We’re a little surprised they left this ridiculous DIY laptop off the list, though.
