The 14 Awesomest Fake Products from The Simpsons

Like the real super-consumers they entertain everyday, the titular family on the animated comedy The Simpsons have torn through all kinds of unnatural and ill-conceived products over the years, from mysterious meat substitutes to bizarre beers. Guyism shops around for The 14 Awesomest Fake Products from The Simpsons, like Krusty Brand Imitation Gruel and Strawberrito. We’re surprised, though, that they left out some of our favorite Simpsons goods, like Red Tick Beer, which Homer drinks right before stumbling home drunkenly and seeing a drugged up Mr. Burns whom he mistakes for an alien in season 8.

Li’l Lisa’s Patented Animal Slurry: In the episode where Mr. Burns loses his fortune and recruits Lisa to help him make it back ethically, Burns starts “recycling” the inhabitants of the oceans, turning fish, whales, shellfish, algae and all into a multipurpose substance that can be used as an explosive, livestock feed, building material and more. (It sounds like it could have been inspired in part by Dr. Seuss’s book The Lorax.)
