10 Gross Foods That Flopped
During a recent debate over the respective merits of cheese fries and poutine, the Listicles office almost came to blows over the question of what topping would make the better flavor for a new line of french fries (poutine-flavored fries, obviously). At any rate, we think either of those products would fare better than some of the really, really awful processed foods featured in mental_floss’s listicle of 10 Gross Foods That Flopped. And a propos of our french fry debate, we’re a little sad that we never got to try Funky Fries (pictured), a product introduced in 2002 by Ore-Ida and canceled a year later. Apparently nobody liked the idea of cinnamon-, chocolate-, and ambiguous blue-flavored fries.
