As the conventional wisdom would have it, everything is for sale, so it should be no surprise that one of the most common graphic treatments we encounter is the barcode, the pattern of vertical black lines that tells us how much we owe the man. Of course, the barcode’s symbolic analogy to capitalism makes it a favorite for remixing, re-imagining and subverting, as WebUrbanist’s great listicle of 15 Forms of Barcode Art makes plainly clear. We’re especially impressed with the barcode architecture employed on this building in St. Petersburg, though we found an even more barcode-y building, which we’ve included after the jump.
