Many things tend to deter us from participating in political rallies. There’s the risk of violence, of course, though we rarely really have to worry about that. There’s the general sense that mass movements of people down city streets can’t achieve much anymore – signing online petitions, that’s where it’s at. Additionally, we’re just not sure what we’d wear to one, or what we’d write on our requisite sign. One thing’s for sure, we’d copy-edit that thing to death to avoid a foible like one of those featured in YesButNoButYes’s listicle of 22 Misspelled Political Signs, our favorite of which is this banner whose mistake completely changes the meaning of the message. We found a couple more embarrassingly misspelled signs, included after the jump.
