We recently saw that new stitchpunk apocalypse movie 9, which was very pretty but a little thin on plot, but we did really enjoy the cool and crafty-looking cast of characters with number names. And, if you think about it, characters with such simple names as numbers tend to be disproportionately interesting and rich, as io9 does a good job of showing with their listicle of 16 Great Characters with Numbers for Names, our favorite of whom, obviously, is Johnny 5 from the Short Circuit movies.

We’re a little shocked by a major absence.
