10 Weird and Wet Umbrellas

Summer is clearly over early this year (at least that’s the way it looks in New York these days), and just like we did our annual bathing suit shop a few months back, now we’re thinking about our annual umbrella shop. We’re going to start by consulting mental_floss’s listicle of 10 Weird and Wet Umbrellas, our favorite of which is the cloud umbrella. Of course, we found several other models we’re contemplating instead, included after the jump.

The Light Umbrella

Helpful in those dark and dreary months.

The Full-Body Umbrella

Especially useful when it’s windy and the rain comes in horizontal. Or when a passing car splashes you – why does that always happen?

Yes, mental_floss covered the samurai umbrella, but what about the pirate saber and knight sword?

The Tandem Umbrella

We’re not sure how it works, but it would make walking side by side under an umbrella much easier (if slightly less romantic).

The Trapezoid Umbrella

Especially designed for walking into the wind.
