Whenever we go to a protest we plan on bringing a sign then chicken out at the last minute. You know, they’re awkward and heavy, and sometimes the people behind you get mad because you’re blocking the view. Plus, if it’s a really big and smart protest you have to worry about how your sign looks alongside others. Is it funny enough? Is it original? Is it extreme enough, or maybe too extreme? How suitable to the subject is your choice of font? Having to face such questions has always dissuaded us from bringing a sign to a rally, but now that we’ve read Holytaco’s listicle of 25 Awesome Protest Signs we may change our policy. And as much as we love the signs in their listicle, like the one below, we even found some others that are truly inspiring, and included them after the jump.
