Animals, especially domestic animals, pretty much seem to be doing cute stuff all the time. This probably has something to do with the life of leisure they live, free from the constraints of actual animal life (ie. catching food, evading predators, performing their own surgery when they swallow a plastic play toy).

Few things are cuter, though, than an animal yawn, which is surprisingly adorable pretty much irrespective of how cute the animal is otherwise. Still, Lemondrop’s listicle featuring Photos of 15 Animals Yawning sticks pretty much to the tried and true cute animals, like cats. We brought along another cute, tired friend after the jump to add some diversity.
