These days we mostly know Pixar animation studios for their adorable and relatively deep and thoughtful computer-animated films (WALL-E, Up!, etc.) and the funny short films that generally precede said features then go on to win all the short film Oscars, but, like most big names in the movies, they go their start in advertising. /Film reminds us as much with their listicle of 9 TV Commercials by Pixar, our favorite of which is this Tarzan-inspired 1993 entry from their series of Listerine commercials., although we’re super-surprised by the absence of an awesome cell phone commercial that we’ve included after the jump.
