Not to sound like crazy weirdos, but we’re rather fond of urinals. In terms of easy, no frills ways in and out of the bathroom, they don’t come much more utilitarian. Of course, that’s not to say that they nullify any likelihood of bathroom awkwardness, but they come pretty close. Or rather, well-designed urinals come pretty close.

Then there are those included in NextRound’s listicle of The World’s 36 Most Awkward Urinals, all of which make us very, very anxious just looking at them, especially the strange rustic chic ones in the window at right. The view is one thing, and the frosted glass probably makes it okay, but what’s with the confusing minimailst bucket urinal bowls? Marcel Duchamp would be… confused.
