Being a good sidekick, as we noted yesterday with Robin’s Big Date, isn’t always the easiest task. You have to be prompt, reliable and yet sufficiently self-effacing and lacking in charisma to still allow the real star his or her time in the spotlight. Maxim, that great sidekick magazine, counts down The 10 Most Underrated Sidekicks Ever, and we’re pretty much in perfect agreement with their number one, Waylon Smithers from The Simpsons:
