If we ever dropped half a mil on some massive ice, it would have to look like a list. It would be a huge gold slab dangling from a chunky gold chain, and it would have the names of our 10 favorite precious stones listed on it in order, with the letters made out of those very stones. Of course, that will never happen, so in the meantime we’ll have to satisfy our obscene obsession with the bling by living vicariously through the rhymes of some of our favorite rappers.

And that’s where Broken Cool’s listicle of The 10 Most Ridiculous Rapper Chains comes in handy, because it’s like window shopping for the budget bling crowd. Our favorite is Rick Ross (at right), whose self-reflexive and ironic chain cleverly points out the very asurd nature of the rapper chain convention. NIcely done, Rick (although we’ll point out the odd absence of Slick Rick from the list, while we’re on the subject).
