16 Revolutionary Ideas from Milan Furniture Fair
Last week Milan’s annual furniture fair – the world’s biggest – wrapper up its 48th edition in fairly typical style. Although, if one thing about this sexy showcase for new furniture designs seems to be changing it’s the proportion of green and environmentally friendly models being unveiled every year. 2009 was another big year for green design at the Salon Internazionale del Mobile, and this year’s edition had the added benefit of falling during a global recession, so there was a parallel trend towards relatively humble and affordable designs.
And since cheap and green is what we’re all about, we recommend you check out TreeHugger’s listicle of 16 Revolutionary Green Ideas from the Milan Furniture Fair.
