The World’s 99 Most Ethical Companies
When in doubt, we generally assume that corporations are evil. Aside from being clever marketers with a sense of humor, they are the most readily available symbol of everything that’s wrong with the world. An annual report by Ethisphere, though, claims that companies can be moral pioneers in their hometowns and across the globe. So, which multinational conglomerates have the best naughty-to-nice ration? Here’s a somewhat surprising sampling: Nike, Gap, Starbucks, McDonald’s and UPS.
