The 10 Most Celebrated TV Show Hangouts

There might be something to this whole TV hang-out thing, aspiring television writers out there. After all, a central locale where our favorite characters always meet to talk and laugh gives us something familiar and comfortable to look forward to, and a socio-behavioral model to follow in our own friendships. To boot, the owners and staff often become de-facto characters and take on a supporting role of their own (ie. Moe, of Moe’s Tavern on The Simpsons) or not (ie. Seinfeld’s Monk’s, at right). That said, while perusing Womans Day’s listicle of The 10 Most Celebrated TV Show Hangouts we noticed one especially egregious omission, revealed after the jump.

The Bronze on Buffy the Vampire Slayer

In its typical way of re-casting the real world as a nightmarish SoCal monster community, Sunnydale’s café-bar-club-lounge The Bronze was the gang’s go-to hangout and a pretty sure destination for whichever bad guy was in town that week.
