It’s Passover, it’s Easter, and so it must be time for the much-maligned religious movie to make its annual rentals spike. I know what you’re thinking: “Religious movies? Oh God, kill me now.” But God knows better than that. God knows that there are at least a dozen or so great religious movies, and the folks at Future of Classic were able to round up The 10 Most Awesome Religious Movies. It’s unfortunate they included Passion of the Christ, but we’re impressed to find Dogma, Wicker Man (the original) and The Life of Brian at numbers 8, 5 and 3 respectively. Frankly, though, we’re a little surprised by the absence of Hamlet 2, which, clearly, couldn’t be more appropriate:
