Athletes are shockingly superstitious at times (Michael Jordan, you may know, wore his North Carolina Tar Heels shorts under his NBA shorts for his entire career). Perusing Cracked’s listicle of 6 Incredible Sports Curses, we especially enjoyed the story about Australia’s soccer team, which hired a witch doctor to set up a curse against their opponents, couldn’t afford to pay him and had the curse turned on them.
