35 Spectacular Hand-Made Type Experiments

When Listicles was first conceived, its was to be a custom-printed ‘zine made with hand-set type and a selection of hand-made fonts assembled in a print shop, printed on linen paper, bound with recycled tire treads and distributed by trained cat messengers.

Obviously, we’ve had to cut back on many of those ambitions, but every so often we still wish we could create an entire listicle out of hand-made type. Failing that, however, we suppose visual evasion’s listicle of 35 Spectacular Hand-Made Type Experiments will do the trick. Our favorite is undoubtedly the fresh fish font at right, which reminds us of another recent hand-made type, which you’ll find after the jump.
