We’ve harbored a fantasy of having a screen or divider in our apartment for at least a decade now. Of course, every time we move there’s the problem that our place isn’t big enough to accomodate such an object in even the most remotely useful capacity.

So for now we’re reduced to scanning design magazines and furniture websites for room divider fantasies, in hopes that one day a wealthy friend will let us decorate their new penthouse loft and we can go to town. Until that day, we’re keeping our urges in check with WebUrbanist’s listicle of 15 Spectacular Space Separators. Our favorite is MIO’s modular cardboard Nomad System (at right).
