14 Superheroes Who Lost Their Cool
Every so often, in a strange moment of Interweb telepathy (or, as we like to call it, “webathy”, which is incidentally the name of the Listicles office cat), two lists will come into existence at nearly the same moment detailing instances of nearly the same phenomenon. One such case occurred recently, when Unreality posted its 8 Examples of When Superheroes Go Bad and Cracked upped the ante with 6 Superheroes Who Completely Lost Their Shit, thereby enabling us – the shameless scavengers – to create this master list of 14 Superheroes Who Lost Their Cool. Unreality is decidedly more web parody-focused with their listicle, while Cracked is much more comic book-centric, so the cumulative effect is both amusing, enlightening and trivia-tastic. We especially enjoyed the moment when Peter Parker, speaking to an adversary over the phone, freaks out and explodes the booth he’s standing in:
