You likely spent several hours (years, decades perhaps) slaving over a strange goemetric and typographic composition known to millions as the periodic table. It has something to do with science and chemisty (we don’t know, we skipped those hours, years and decades), but it’s also an instantly-recognizable organizational format.

With its wacky shape and structure, it may seem familiar but is increasingly being used to diagram all kinds of pseudo-scientific and highly un-scientific information. Like, for instance, the periodic table of funk, pictured at right.
