5 Huge Green-Tech Projects in the Developing World

Sure, there’s the huge wind energy plant in Florida, and a massive solar plant was just announced for Austin, Texas, but one of the biggest challenges in becoming more environmentally responsible is in creating green projects in rapidly developing nations. With less capital to put behind massive infrastructural projects, and fast-growing needs for energy that could be more quickly met with coal and the like, it’s nice to read Wired Science’s listicle of 5 Huge Green-Tech Projects in the Developing World. We’re most impressed with India’s Suzlon wind farm company, whose Dhule Wind Farm (pictured at right) will soon become the world’s largest.
