165 Robots With Stuff
ShoeboxBlog cartoonist Chris Gine is about one month into his year-long project of drawing three images of robots with random things every week. This undertaking, simple as it sounds, is actually quite difficult. Think of all the robots with things from various movies, shows, books, comics, etc. that you can remember off the top of your head. We’re thinking, for instance, of various robots with the unwavering conviction that they’re human, as in A.I., Blade Runner, etc. That’s so many things Gine can’t picture with robots because it’s already been done.
Still, so far he’s doing pretty well and getting fairly inventive, so we’re looking forward to seeing where Gine goes with his 165 Robots With Stuff. Our favorite so far is the sad robot at right, although we’re hoping to see a “Robot with a list of urgently needed repairs.”
