The Top 50 Food Blogs

In the BL (Before Listicles) days, we tried to start a food blog. It was called “The Tempest” and was devoted to recipes that used the fermented soy food tempeh. After the first day we were swamped with messages from disgruntled Shakespeare fans badgering us about “Prospero” (an obscure spice we’ve still never found), so we had to shut the site down.

All this to say that creating and maintaining a food blog is no easy undertaking, which is why we’re really happy that the Times of London has gone to the trouble of boiling the food blogosphere (”floodosphere”?) down to its richest and most flavorful reduction: The Top 50 Food Blogs. Check out Listicles’ addition after the jump.

A Hamburger Today: This blog devoted to beef patties, buns, and all things that fit in between covers some of the best burgers served in the country, offers original and classic recipes, and covers random burger related news, like this truck spill near Salt Lake City during which some 40,000 pounds of burger patties were spilled all over the Interstate.

Gross.
