We’ve been a little apprehensive about this whole green revolution because it’s so intensely class-coded. That is, its implied message is that you can do right by the environment as long as you can afford to, which seems completely wrong-headed. At any rate, The Wall Street Journal, of all media outlets, has put together a very practical listicle of 9 Affordable Ways to Go Green. Most of the advice seems solid, although it’ll take some convincing to get us to switch to low-flow showerheads after what we last heard about them:
