Recently, while working on a Valentine’s Day feature for our sister site/publication The L Magazine, we learned all about anglerfish (seen at right in all their ugliness) and their strange, vaguely cannibalistic mating practices. Funny, though, because the hopeless romantics at WebEcoist seem to think that the way the female anglerfish sucks the tag-along male down to a floppy sock of a shell is one of the 7 Symbiotic Wonders of the 7 Seas.
