Movies are our religion (our cultural religion generally, and the Listicles religion specifically), so it’s fitting that some of the most moving stories put to screen should feature biblical narratives about precocious young folks being shoved into adulthood by the massive responsibilities heaped upon them. Unreality has compiled a brief listicle (too brief, we think) of 5 Sci-Fi and Fantasy Movie Christ Figures. Some absent titles off the top of our heads: Star Wars, Spider-Man, Lord of the Rings, The Passion of The Christ (that’s a fantasy movie, right?), The Life of Brian.
