Did you leave milk and cookies out for the president? We really hope he brings us all the Presidents’ Day gifts we asked for in our letter. We tried to not to be too demanding, but it’s hard not asking for much when there are so many things we need really badly. Maybe if he just gets his elves cabinet to work on the big things we asked for, that’ll be enough for this year.

Did you enjoy the cookies we baked for you Mr. President? We stayed up a little late making them and were worried we might run into you coming down the fire escape before we went to bed, so we learned these 19 Presidential Facts we were going to recite to you if we saw you. Would you like to hear them, huh, would you? This is our favorite: “Dwight D. Eisenhower hated cats. When he retired to Gettysburg, Penn., he’d shoot any cat that came near his house.” You don’t hate cats, do you Mr. President?
