So, as you may have heard, M.I.A. is slated to perform at the Grammys on Sunday, which also happens to be the day her baby is due (notice her bulge at right). In the recent tradition of seeking to shape musical artists’ behavior by creating mixtapes for them (just like we did with junior high girlfriends!), we’ve made a little mix of baby and pregnancy-themed songs that we hope you, Maya Arulpragasam, will enjoy and contemplate as you prepare your two life-redefining performances on Sunday. Listen to Listicles’ 10-Song Mixtape for Super-Pregnant M.I.A.

Madonna - “Papa Don’t Preach”

Elton John - “Blessed”

Talib Kweli feat. Mos Def - “Joy”

We’re sorry we couldn’t find this one, because it’s the rare rap song that’s totally positive about child birth.

Carol King - “Child of Mine”

RZA - “Baby Boy”

Nas - “Fetus”

Suzanne Vega - “Birth-Day (Love Made Real)”

2Pac - “Brenda’s Got A Baby”

Slightly messed up choice perhaps, but it’s still a great song about pregnancy.

John Denver - “Stonehaven Sunset”

This tribute is the only version we could find, so it’ll have to do.

Ace of Base - “All That She Wants”

Best pregnancy song ever!
