Onesie here, back with another edition of Listicles’ weekly sports column Sporty Saturdays. I recently realized that although there has been ample year-end list coverage in these pages over the last couple of weeks, the ubiquitous sports-themed “best of 2008″ has been absent.

Though I’m especially busy around this time of year with freelance mascot gigs and article assignments, I figured it was time to redress this lack with a look back at the best moments in sports from last year. That said, 2008 also featured many hardships on and off the court/field/pitch/slope/etc., so I’ve included some of the year’s most memorable anti-moments to balance the karmic values. So enjoy this look back at the Top 10 (and Bottom 10) Plays of 2008.
