Top 10 “Neo-’Staches”
With an astute bit of trend-spotting, New York magazine’s Daily Intel blog chronicles the mustache’s recent crossover from fashionable facial hair faux-pas to mainstream viability and official acceptance (via a ground-testing period in hipster ugly-coolness).
Admittedly, Brad Pitt’s recent ’stache reveal (number three on Daily Intel’s slideshow) was predicted by Orlando Bloom’s (pictured at right), spotted over a year ago by that sarcastic forum for hipster ridicule, LOLHipsters.
Despite conflicting claims to being first on the scene, Daily Intel’s New York-centric top 10 slideshow highlights out some stellar ’staches. Among them:
