Sporty Saturdays: Top 5 Curling Shots

Onesie here, freelance mascot and sports writer, back again with another cool and fresh installment of Listicles’ weekly sports column Sporty Saturdays. While researching a new number based on whale sounds that I’ll be showcasing for a team I freelance mascot for, I came across some truly incredible curling footage I felt I should share.

Seasonally appropriate and delightful in its own different, special way (think of it as Canada’s version of bowling, but never tell a Canadian that’s what your thinking), curling is an indoor sport played on ice wherein players slide rocks (very snazzy polished rocks with handles) towards a set of concentric circles. Whichever team has the greatest number of rocks closest to the circles’ center wins.
